Ever seen a lamp that is powered by winding the handle? There are plenty of those available in the market but nothing as creative as the dynamic light. Experts have produced eco-globe lamp prototypes that actually give you enough lighting while you work or read. For as long as you spin the lamp like a typical Floor Globe, you can keep it charged.

Unfortunately, the lamps are still works in progress and it will be years until we can actually buy one as replacement for our incandescent desk lamps. So keep your finger crossed and be on the lookoutlessen it.

Many of us have seen several products that harness the power of the sun. Nowadays, solar panels are plastered on every kind of object imaginable: from calculators, to houses’ roofs to Electronics Charging Station. There are even solar panels included with the conventional outdoor lanterns.

Solar lanterns are really useful for campers and outdoorsmen. In case you run out of batteries while camping, you’d still have enough lighting. All you have to do is to leave the solar lantern outside and let it soak on some sunlight. On the down side, though, the brightness of the lantern mainly depends on the intensity of the sun.
