You put in your main thought into the biggest box or circle and then begin to add in thoughts and ideas to create a visual diagram or canvas.

Some of the greatest features of Mindjet 8 is the ability to transform your mind map into an Adobe Acrobat page or even publish it to a webpage. Many other programs are strictly limited to operations within the program. Another bonus is that the designers took into consideration that people of all ages would use the program. Many other mind mapping software programs are geared more towards juvenile users with pictures and games to help them through the creative process. With its automated task management, Mindjet Player and Database Linker, Mindjet 8 is definitely something that professionals could use on a daily basis to help them find the information they need for a project and then help them arrive at solutions. But the question to ask is whether or not it is too hard to use.

There are mixed reviews regarding this program. On the website www.amazon.com there is only 2 user reviews though and both are very different from the other. One user found that they really like the program because it was easy to use and easy to understand. The other user, however, found that the data would not stay in place and that even putting the data in was confusing. It may have been user error or simply not understanding the program’s tools. At the price of $349.00 it is expensive but it does have capabilities that definitely put it ahead of other mind mapping software programs on the market so Mindjet MindManager 8 may be what you need.
