Samsung LN52A750 Review

Samsung LN46A750 has a great image quality right out of the box, but if you would like the greatest picture quality you should have it calibrated. There is nothing better then this tv when it it’s calibrated for your environment.

Samsungs TOC or Touch Of (Red) Color, I’ve read a lot of conversations about it. For me it is barely visible and presents it a decent look on the edges of this Samsung LN52A750.

I am really content with this Television. It posses plenty of connections and great quality. You could check the instructions with caution if you got any component connections because only one set on the television has that function and it writen composite on the back.

There are some minor issues but it’s not something to be concern about. The operating system is a bit delayed. When going through menus sometimes it takes a while to respond but I’m picky when it comes to speed. Couple of the remote buttons like the jog wheel work easier for a person who uses it slowly and presses more firmly.

The volume and channel buttons squeak slighty but not in an unpleasant way. The other negative thing of the remote is it is not universal. I’m surprised a TV at this price tag doesn’t come with one.

The image quality of HD sources are stunning with right and properly saturated colors. Not too saturated and too processed like Sony televisons. There are times when the upscaling of lower quality signals results something to be wanted. Sometimes when a person’s face can appear a bit granulated or blocky. This can be easily fixed with using a HD source. With HD sources this Television is perfectly awesome.

Use it with Blu ray player or other HD source and you will be in heaven. I just like it. Just keep in mind that this set, like other high contrast sets, uses a bit glossy screen which can shine so be careful of your light sources in the area. It shines about as much as a regular flat screen tube TV with usuall glass, but probably a bit less.

In The End the audio is nice. I have never been a fan of the built in audio on any television but for those who don’t worry about that the sound is simply adequate. Something I have found though is that the television processes video quicker than my own amplifier processes sound. Sometimes the television can get before of my surround sound system and the words go out of sync. This is quickly fixed by pausing the video and starting it back. It happens rarely and just when I start or when I’m fast forwarding a video.

Conclusion is that this is a good tv, and most likely the best HDTV at this price tag, good investment and should fulfill absolutely everyone.
