The DVLA have announced the dates and venue for the fifth auction of number plates to be held in 2209. The venue is Dormy House Hotel, Broadway, Worcestershire and the dates are he 7th, 8th and 9th of October. 1600 numbers are on offer all with published reserves. Bidding is by post,telephone, internet and of course in person at the venue. Top expected bid is for the registration 5 O which will make someone very happy on their 50th birthday. The number 4 O brought fifty one thousand pounds in a recent auction and there is no reason to suspect 5 O will bring less.Other notable entries are F1 END which is self explanatory, JE55 UPS the camera people, 801 LER for boiler which could interest heating engineers. The usual good quality numbers are evident such as 46 LEE, 35 ASH and 47 BEN. There are also some dubious number which invite mis-spacing to make them work including H151 NGH for Hi Singh and D41 SYC for Daisy C. Two plus twos numbers are well represented with attractive combinations such as 87 JT and 96 JW. One plus threes are also in abundance with gems like 7 JPN and 8 KPS. This could be the last but one sale so attendance should be high.
